in  2020, CVHI’s response to the Covid outbreak was to run a video submission competition. Students were invited to submit videos for a $25 fee, and in turn received a score, a ranking for their category, and helpful comments on their performances. We were pleased to receive several submissions from 4 studios and several students around the country. Our 2020 winners were featured in a Virtual Winners Recital and are listed below.  Congratulations, 2020 contestants!

Our goal for 2021 is to continue offering competition opportunities for harp students up to age 19 that will inspire, motivate and educate young harpists in the art of competing and finding their very best selves.

We continue to follow emerging news and events surrounding safe practices as we look toward our program for the summer of 2021. Whether our program runs virtually as last year, or on-site, we will hold our program this summer!
